The Korean Breast Cancer Society is contributing to the development of the breast cancer field and the improvement of patients' health through various activities such as research, education, and patient support related to breast cancer, and is an organization that contains the great legacy of many respected seniors. As the president of the Korean Breast Cancer Society, I have been entrusted with an important role in helping the members achieve the development and goals of the society.

In the meantime, based on the leadership and enthusiasm of our members, the Korean Breast Cancer Society has grown and developed further. My role as president of the Korean Breast Cancer Society is to inherit the great legacy of the society, uphold the wishes of many seniors, and determine and lead the vision and future direction of the society. We promise our members that we will work together to achieve various goals such as innovation in breast cancer research and treatment technology, exchanges between members, promotion of the welfare of breast cancer patients, and globalization of the society. In addition, as the president of the Korean Breast Cancer Society, I will support various activities such as communication and cooperation with the members of the society, networking with experts, participation in domestic and international academic events and conferences, and research support, and I will listen to and respect the opinions of the members of the society to determine the direction of the society.

As the president of the Korean Breast Cancer Society, I have a lot of responsibilities and obligations, but at the same time, I think it is an opportunity to feel a lot of reward and fulfillment. Based on the support and cooperation of the members of the Korean Breast Cancer Society, we will do our best to lead the successful operation of the society together with Chairman Han Won-sik.

I am honored to assume the position of the 11th Chairman of the Korean Breast Cancer Society. Through the dedicated efforts of our society over the past 25 years, Korea has emerged from the periphery of breast cancer research, diagnosis, treatment, and basic science, and now stands shoulder to shoulder with leading countries in these fields. I feel a great sense of responsibility to further upgrade our esteemed society, which has been excellently led and developed by my predecessors.

Our society's vision, "With you, the World leading KBCS" encapsulates everything we aspire to achieve. It encompasses the unity and collaboration of our members, the relentless pursuit of conquering breast cancer, and our determination to make a global impact. In line with this vision, I am committed to fostering a sense of pride and solidarity among our society members and striving to lead our society as a beacon of women's health, not only in Asia but also on the global stage.

As we carry on the spirit of interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to create more opportunities for outstanding young members to engage actively. During my term, I plan to invest further at the society level in promising areas such as clinical trials and translational research, tapping into the high potential of Korea. I firmly believe that with united efforts and a shared determination, we can achieve even greater advancements than what we have accomplished thus far. I earnestly request your greater passion and participation in our society.
